A fun twist on the game many have seen before. Using the cute ice-cube trays from the dollar store, this game is sure to be a hit. To add even more excitement, I found the spooky eyeball ping-pong balls for students to use to make ten. Three

This is a short activity to let you examine the quality of my work. This is a fun and easy game to play during math centers, small group instruction, or any other free time moment. Students love this version of Bingo and it helps build Number ID

A great resource for the month of October. I've included over 100 pages of Number Bond practice for Halloween. With this resource, I've included number bonds 5 through 10 so practice can be differentiated to meet the needs of every learner.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught Kindergarten on the Navajo reservation for 11 years before transitioning to an instructional math and reading coach. I remained in that position for 4 years and then made a big change by moving to a new school district. It was here that I taught 2nd grade for one year. This will be my second year as a Title I math specialist.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe learning should be fun. If we want students to be excited to come to school, we need to give them a reason. My goal is to give students the excitement for new knowledge and provide them with the learning opportunities I never had as a student. I was horrible in math when I was a kid and now I have the opportunity to give students the hands on experiences they desire to gain conceptual understanding of the mathematics they require.
