TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in the classroom teaching since 2002. I started out by working as a substitute teacher for 6 amazing years, while my own kids were in elementary school. I loved being in different classrooms everyday. Since I subbed at my kids’ school we got to go to school together everyday! It was wonderful! They are both all grown up now so I am full time in my own classroom as a first grade teacher!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is very student centered! I love helping students explore and learn in their own unique ways. Collaboration and small group instruction are important parts of my classroom.
