TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a theatre educator and playwright based in Providence, Rhode Island. I teach all aspects of theatre, and have an academic interest in theatre history, puppetry and theatre for social change. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or requests!

MY TEACHING STYLE

In the theatre, we learn by doing. We are always on our feet, and always doing ALL of the work. I try to have my students be a part of every aspect of the show, so they can understand all of the work that goes into a production (and maybe find something they like even more than acting). It is important to me that everyone is fully immersed in and committed to the work. My hope is that they learn that every area of the theatre - from acting to lighting, marketing to dramaturgy, construction to budgeting - and learn the skills to truly "put on a show."
