I recently retired from my full time career as an elementary school librarian. Now I work part time as the librarian at 3 small country schools in my county. Before I became a librarian, I was a first grade teacher for 9 years and taught grades 3, 4, & 5 before that, for a grand total of over 33 years of elementary teaching experience.
My goal: provide relevant, engaging, active learning experiences for students. Above all I hope to promote a love of reading and confidence in information seeking. And of course, I want to help you make your library the center of your school!
