TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my sixth year of teaching and my fifth year with my current school. In the past five years, I have written three curriculums and have taught three grade levels (9, 11, and 12). I have had experience teaching a high school study skills class (Freshmen Seminar) as well as high school English courses (English 12, American Literature, and Honors English 12). This year, I am teaching American Literature and Ideology, Honors American Literature, and Genres of Literature (English 9). All courses have new, Common Core Standards aligned curriculum, and I am excited to see how the implementation goes. I am currently working towards my M.Ed in Special Education at Waynesburg University.
