I have worked at a school for the Deaf in New York for the past four years, providing speech and language services to kiddos ages 1-16. All are Deaf or hard of hearing, and many have additional special needs. I use spoken English as well as American Sign Language throughout my day, depending on the needs of each individual student.
My teaching style mimics the quote: If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.
I received the ACE (Award for Continuing Education) from ASHA! Professional development and continuing education are areas that I feel passionate about!
I have a bachelor's degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from Hofstra University which is on Long Island, NY and a master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Queens College! I also worked hard to earn my PROMPT Certification!
My newest goal for myself is to have 900 followers, and 90 products in total in my store! If you have any questions, comments, or requests, please email me at LaurenDiBiaseTPT@gmail.com Blog Facebook Instagram Pinterest
