TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Design and execute appropriate and individualized treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses including: Specific Learning Disabilities, Language Learning Disabilities, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Apraxia, and Dysphagia.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Support of academic curriculum of students grade 1-12, with Specific Learning Disabilities and Language Learning Disabilities through individual speech sessions and push in intervention services by incorporating student’s IEP goals and components of the core curriculum relating to communication, speech, and language. Assess, intervene, and evaluate progress and outcomes associated with AAC interventions using principles of evidence-based practice.
