TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started my career as a Kindergarten Interventionist for Reading. I now work as an Intervention Specialist in an inclusion setting for 4th and 5th grade Reading and Math.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a big believer in cooperative, community-based learning so nearly all of my activities I create revolve around the idea that students can work together in small groups to learn a concept. I do also believe that students needs individual/small group attention and instruction from a teacher, so my activities can be done independently or in small groups with a teacher leading the activity.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

It's an honor to do what I love everyday =)

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a license in Early Childhood Education (PK-3) and Mild/Moderate Needs (K-12) with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have a cute little family =)
