While I overall dislike the idea of pacing guides, I do see a benefit in having a plan for the year as far as what order in which I should teach the standards. When first moving to Indiana, there was no clear order in which to teach the Sixth Grade

Students use the History Channel website to analyze Roman Achievements. The chart will help them rank the order of importance of each of the ten achievements. They can share the doc and work on it with a partner or by themselves. Students will be
