I have had 30 years teaching experience across a range of grades in the elementary school, most recently, specialising in inclusive education and the principles of early learning.
Student engagement is at the heart of what I do in the classroom. I believe in a hands-on, collaborative inquiry learning approach to teaching that fosters students' personal interests and develops their unique talents and skills. Building strong interpersonal relationships and student self-esteem is key to a happy and successful classroom.
