I am currently a third grade teacher, in the end of my first year. I have taught and been in a lot of different classrooms from Kindergarten to 4th grade. I studied Elementary Education and Psychology in school and have a passion for trying new things in the classroom. I have worked both as a teacher and a mentor to students. Other than education I also have a background in customer service and management and bring a lot of the skills with dealing with others from that into the classroom.
I am a very whole student focused teacher. I am a firm believer that if the student does not get the social support, the educational learning will be extremely difficult. I am still trying to figure out a lot of aspects in my classroom and will try anything once.
Yet to be added
I grew up in both public and private school. I went to college earning a dual bachelor's degree in Psychology and elementary education and bring that into the classroom everyday. I am currently working to see where I could go next with my education and what avenue I want to go with what I hope will be my master's degree.
I use everything that I post in my classroom or am in the process of implementing it. I try to be extremely organized, but often find gaps in my organization everyday. I love the challenge the classroom brings.
