I have experience in a variety of different schools, however primarily Title 1 schools or focus schools. I have also taught several different grade level s from First to Ninth and I have LOVED them all!. They are simply too different to even compare.
I am a fairly laid back teacher who loves to implement a project based learning environment, with a lot of collaboration, creativity and problem solving opportunities. That being said, not every child learns the same way and at times a project may not be the best solution. Therefore, I also integrate small group instruction. interactive notebooks, debates, art, music, media and hands-on challenges. I am always seeking for ways to improve as a teacher and I am always up for trying something new!

I am an avid teacher, who (while cliche) truly loves all of her students. Call me crazy, but I love my middle schoolers too! I am the wife of a college football coach, who yes, moves A LOT. In fact, I have yet to teach in one school or grade level for more than a year. While overwhelming at times, I wouldn't change it. I have learned more than I could have ever imagined from the various teammates and administrators I have worked alongside thus far. My experiences are unlike most, yet I cherish the challenges and learning opportunities.
