By Learning Teaching Leading I have been teaching for 16 years at a variety of levels. Most recently I taught 5th grade, but I have also taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and a year of special education. I am currently an Instructional Library Technology Specialist in 3 K-5 schools. In this role, I help integrate technology in the classroom and provide resources to teachers and students.
I want my students to be engaged and enjoy learning. I create engaging lessons that often integrate technology in purposeful ways.
I spoke at ISTE 2018 in Chicago with a colleague of mine about our use of Amazon Dots in our classrooms.
I have my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in technology.
I have been married for 16 years to a very supportive husband. He even has started creating clipart for me! I have a step daughter and son who are amazing and creative.
