I am a college lecturer of Spanish at Yale University and Fordham. I have taught Spanish Grammar, and Literature for 14 years and I also taught English as a Second Language and Creative Writing and Composition. I am a published writer of short stories.
I think grammar can be fun when taught with videos as an additional resource. My short stories in Spanish and English can be used for the students to learn languages, or to discuss topics. Lessons with Animation and Lesson captured in Video format are very useful for teachers to prepare a fun entertaining class! Visual aids are always helpful!
My short stories have been published in Literary Magazines, such as UC Santa Barbara Lit. Magazine. One of my novels "Stutz" was published a few years ago, and it can be found online on Google books. I have my own website and YouTube Channel with language Videos & Cartoons.
I have a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Translation and Interpretation. I am currently finishing a second Masters In Digital Technologies for Language Teachers at the University of Nottingham in the UK. Additionally, I have a certificate in Writing Drama, by Oxford University.
I worked for Television for many years in the 90s so I learned to develop videos and I worked as a theatre actor for many years as well, which helps a lot when making videos! Thanks for watching! DKS
