TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught all four levels of college prep high school English in South Carolina, along with a year of drama. While working at a charter school, I also taught 3rd & 4th grade ELA, 6th grade ELA & reading, 7th and 8th grade writing, and set design (props).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I prefer to facilitate learning in my classroom, allowing students to work collaboratively and independently. I closely monitor their learning so I can assist when needed, but I do allow them to struggle on their own before offering aid. I highly value personal responsibility.
