I've worked with a range of different elementary grade levels and in various subject levels throughout my teaching career. In my 5 years as an interrelated teacher I've worked with students with Specific Learning Disabilities to students with Emotional Behavior Disorders to students with Autism. As an interrelated teacher I've taught in a resource setting as well as co-taught in general education classrooms. The school I've taught at for the majority of my career is STEM certified and I'm one of our STEM leaders. I've had the opportunity to present at various STEM conferences and I'm a big proponent of the benefits of STEM for students in special education. I've recently made the transition to general education and this upcoming school year I will be teaching math and science in 4th grade.
