I have been teaching Spanish since 2003 although I have been involved with tutoring in Spanish since 1997. I have taught from the Pre-K-12 levels of Exploratory Spanish up through post-secondary Beginning Spanish 1-2 and Intermediate Spanish 2 at the university level. I have taught in public schools, charter schools and have been involved with private tutoring.
I prefer a hands-on, visual and interactive approach to learning. Languages require active communication using listening, speaking, reading and writing skills within a cultural framework.
