TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching PreK-8 Science since 2010 at a private day school in Akron, Ohio. I also teach Health for K-8 and Judaic Studies for 7th-10th.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom is generally a blended teaching style of facilitated and individual student activities, with a delegated and group activities. I try to help guide them with inquiry-based learning, help them develop critical thinking skills, and help them understand the material in a way that relates to their own lives. I encourage them to ask questions, offer different ideas and opinions, and explore different ways that a question can be answered and ways a problem can be solved.
