I have been teaching English/Language Arts for 15 years. The last 12 years, have been dedicated to high school. I have taught grades 9-12, from remedial to Honors classes. In my career, I have been fortunate enough to write a slew of different curricula and collaborated in developing different literacy programs for secondary and post-secondary institutions. I have also taught college as an adjunct professor for 3 years, and am currently working on my Ed.D in higher education.
I employ a constructivist approach to instruction. I prepare daily lessons that engage students and challenge them to think independently.
