This is my 20th year of teaching. I spent 4 years teaching literacy and social studies in 6th grade, 13 years teaching 5th grade, and I'm working on my 3rd year in 4th grade. I have also served as a Master Economics Teacher for Economics Arkansas for the past 10 years, and as the elementary economics coordinator for my district.
My teaching style is organized chaos! I believe in hands-on, experiential learning whenever possible. I feel that it is extremely important to know my students and do everything possible to meet their individual learning styles and needs. I have implemented full flexible seating in my classroom to help me accomplish this goal. I also believe that building relationships with my students is vital.

I absolutely love my life! I have the best job on the planet, I'm married to my very best friend, I have amazing children and family, and the best friends and church on the planet. My husband is a baseball umpire, so we are definitely a baseball household. I love traveling with him to games during the summer and often turn it into lesson ideas! People have been telling me for years that I should be posting items on TPT, but I am just now taking the time to start doing it!
