We are 3 primary teachers who have 63 combined years of experience teaching in kindergarten through fourth grade classrooms. We have worked together for 15 years and have had many, many, MANY planning sessions as coworkers and as Literacy Team co-chairs. We love to develop units that cross the curriculum and engage our learners!
Our teaching is designed to engage students in situations where they are asked to analyze and dig deeper. We constantly ask, "Why?" and "How do you know?" throughout all areas of the curriculum. Students are often encouraged to engage in conversations as they work through challenges and to write about their thinking. We scaffold our instruction so students can take ownership of their learning. Our hope is that our products will help your students engage as well.
