During my student teaching, I taught Government and Psychology (Regular and AP) to 9th-11th graders. I have worked as a paraprofessional and co-teacher developing lessons and modifications for ELL students in all subject areas for since 2007. I am currently a teacher in a middle school. I have taught MSA Reading to 8th graders, Intervention to 7th grade, Academic Resource to Autistic Students, U.S. History to 8th graders, and World Cultures to 6th and 7th graders. I primarily work with Special Education students both Intensive and Co-Taught, but my materials are versatile.
I like to include multiple intelligences, technology, creativity, and station teaching to allow the students to get a wide-range of educational strategies and techniques. I am very thorough with my assignments and make sure that the students have every ability possible to comprehend the information.
I graduated high and attended Towson University for my Bachelors in History and Secondary Education. I then attended University of Maryland College Park for my Masters in Special Education.
I am certified in General Special Education infant-Adult (21), Geography, History, Middle School Social Studies, Political Science, Social Studies, and Reading.
