TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was the librarian at Mitchell Neilson Primary for 11 years. I started out the 2014-2015 school year at Reeves Rogers Elementary as the librarian and I am excited to be teaching the older grades.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have won 5 Foundation Grants, 10 BEP (Business Education Partnership) Grants, and one Friends of Linebaugh Library Grants. Winnings total about $18,000. In 2012 I was named the MEA Distinguished Educator. I won the TASL Innovative Library Media Award in 2012 and 2014, and was recognized at the Above and Beyond Ceremony. I served as the Chairwomen for the TASL Administrator Presentation Committee and am currently the TASL Secretary.
