TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I would like to think of myself as sort of a jack of all trades; I have taught 6-8th grade science and language arts prior to embarking on my latest adventure, a career in Library Media Education. Currently, I teach K-5 in the library setting and I absolutely love it. I am an experienced educator working in my 8th year; I specialize in "at-risk" populations and making curriculum accessible for all students. I truly love what I do and wouldn't have survived my first few months in the library with TPT.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe first and foremost in building a community in the classroom. Many of my methods stem around giving students a voice in the classroom and creating a sense of accountability and pride.
