TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm an elementary school librarian and author of The Centered School Library. I blog about reading, makerspaces, and library learning at LibraryLearners.com. Everything that I sell in my TPT store has been tested and refined in my elementary school library with preK through fifth grade students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I help teachers and librarians like you grow engaged, enthusiastic elementary learners by sharing the best reading, writing, tech, and makerspace resources! I use learning centers (work stations) and makerspaces in my school library. I work hard to connect my students to the JOY of reading. I love the hum of purposeful activity as my students are moving, talking and learning! My library is RARELY quiet! My students are engaged and joyful!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm happily married and the proud mother of three sons. I love to travel as often as possible and to spend long summer days reading on the beach! My rescue pups Pinto and Princess keep me walking, no matter what the weather! I love my job AND I love creating engaging learning resources for you and your students!
