TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 5th grade for my first three years of teaching and I learned so much about upper elementary! I then moved on to teach a 3rd and 4th-grade multiage classroom for 4 years. I absolutely loved teaching multiple grade levels in one room and seeing the connections they build with their cross grade-level peers! Now I am moving on to 2nd grade and am looking forward to a younger crew!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that at the base of all classrooms should be positive connections and a positive classroom community. Therefore I make sure to get to know each student in order to teach to each child. I pride myself in providing engaging learning activities in order for my students to learn at their best potential!
