This is my eighth year of teaching fourth grade in a suburban school district near Pittsburgh, PA. I have also taught second grade and first grade.
I love to teach with an inquiry based, student centered approach. Technology, small groups and hands on learning are an important part of my daily instruction in every subject. I love to see my students excited to learn and share! Creating lessons to go along with our curriculum provides a way to encourage creativity and good independent thinkers,
Champions of Change Award - October 2014.
My undergraduate degree is in Business Administration earned from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from California University of Pennsylvania.
Teaching is my second career but has always been my first passion! I am honored and appreciate every day I spend in the classroom teaching my students. I learn as much from them as they do from me on a daily basis!
