Teaching is a Divine practice. I cannot imagine doing it without the Divine. With God as my teacher I have learned how to get closer everyday to becoming the teacher I dreamt of being when I chose my major in college. Meeting someone else’s needs in everything you do as a teacher is an act of Love… and Love is the Universal song that we all long to hear. I believe there is nothing more musical to a child’s heart than the underlying harmony of Love he/she can sense from a willing Teacher. allchildrenlovetolearn@gmail.com I am a: woman, wife, mother, teacher, painter, and a “Pro” at singing in the shower. I am married to my best friend, who happens to be a wonderful music therapist. I am a mother to an active and amazing child with whom I “imprinted” with the moment we met. I possess formal education in Teaching and hold a B.A. in Education, coursework in Special Education, and graduate coursework in Autism Spectrum Disorders. I have a Professional Teaching Certificate to teach the following in the state of Florida: Primary Education PreK-3rd, English to Speakers of Other Languages K-12, Exceptional Student Education (Special Education) K-12, along with an ASD Endorsement. I have taught in diverse settings and to children with varying exceptionalities for about 5 years. Grateful as I am for my formal education, and indebted as I am to every single professor who instilled in me the passion for teaching, I have to accept that it is from my experience teaching diverse populations, with diverse needs, in diverse settings, that I draw from to develop and share the strategies included in my store.
