TEACHING EXPERIENCE

So far I have taught 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. I have taught English, History, and Technology Training. My experience has primarily been in a small, rural school setting.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I do not fly by the seat of my pants. I am the teacher who prints 6 weeks worth of lessons just for the satisfaction of watching the stacks shrink as the weeks go by. Organization is my oxygen. Teaching junior high has taught me that this is not the case for most 12-14 year olds. I try to hone their organizational skills in the midst of teaching the highest quality lessons I can muster. I do not assign much homework, but rather try to make the most of every moment spent in class with my students.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in December 2013 with a teaching degree for English and History 7-12.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am the mama to three happy hound dogs. Dog hair is an accessory, right?
