Lisa Voss has been a music educator for 18 years and is completing her 15th year at Grandview Elementary School.
She has a passion for learning and regularly uses technology to enhance her lessons and expand her teaching time.

With a Bachelor’s in Choral/General Music and a Master’s in Education, Lisa also conducts an after school choir comprised of approximately eighty-five 4-6th grade singers.
Lisa has a passion for learning and regularly uses technology to enhance her lessons and expand her teaching time. In the past, she has presented sessions at MCCSC (Monroe County Community School Corporation) E-Learning Summits regarding the use of iMovie and GarageBand in the classroom. She also presented at the IMEA conference in 2017 regarding the use of littleBits Synth and Light Kits in the elementary music classroom. As a mom of a child with Autism, Lisa also has a passion for teaching music to children with special needs. Grandview Elementary hosts three self-contained classrooms (Medically Fragile, Autism, and Emotional Handicaps) and Lisa has learned a lot from her students in these classrooms over the years, making adapted music one of the most rewarding parts of her career.
