TEACHING EXPERIENCE

16 years of 9-12th grade English teaching experience, including Advanced Placement and Honors programs. Classes taught include AP® English Literature, Journalism, Creative Writing, World Literature, Shakespearean Literature, British Literature, Modern American Literature, History of Drama, and 9th and 10th grade English.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in transparency and honesty. I teach with integrity and try to make each moment in the classroom count. I don't believe in busy work and assign work that is genuinely useful for students in the future. I particularly like quote-driven literary analysis and differentiated learning activities. My mission is to make AP® English Literature more inclusive and engaging.
