TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught all grades of high school and all levels from my sweet "three-reaters" of 9th grade to IB Literature English A1 Higher Level.I have even taught virtually in NC and in unconventional classes in an alternative setting. I feel as though I have a strong understanding of a variety of learners and their individual needs. Currently I am teaching both AP Literature and IB Literature English A1.

MY TEACHING STYLE

With my current position, I find myself being a facilitator rather than a teacher. I know that we are not supposed to "teach to the test," but IB's assessments are fabulous (and not multiple choice), so following their standards and preparing for their assessments just makes for good teaching.
