Preschool and Kindergarten Teacher in Russia for 22 years. Pre-Kindergarten Teacher in the USA for 15 years. I retired this year in March.
I am very passionate about my teaching. My students loved and enjoyed learning because it's fun. I always tried to balance two things: follow my directions & be creative. I respect every child's unique personality! Also I liked to incorporate music and movement into my curriculum which I created and manly based on art activities. Developing of social skills was always my priority! It was in every day life experience. Just like it was Working with Parents: building trust and cooperation. And I have a great sense of humor which is my important teaching tool.
I had some prizes in Russia
I studied Music and Education in Russia. When I emigrated to the USA, I went to SF City College where I took most of ECE classes ( 45 units ) to better understanding an American Preschool Education System. Combining knowledge from two educational resourses helped me to develop my unique program "Literacy and Art for Young Children". Also I participated in Science Workshop for Preschool Children in SF Academy of Science in 2013-2014.
I enjoy classical music concerts, opera, and ballet. I love going to museums and Academy of Science or just stroll in our wonderful Golden Gate Park. I am a very proud mother of two and a grandmother of ten.
