I have taught in a primary school for nearly 30 years! I LOVE teaching, it's where my heart is! MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in teaching to the "whole child". In other words - respecting their individual needs as a learner. I meet them where they're at developmentally, and go from there. Little learners all come with differing experiences and backgrounds. I want them to feel that they can accomplish anything, and that mistakes help us learn! I believe in praising work ethic and in celebrating persistence and kindness! High expectations for growth are guided by standards, and rounded out by my experience and my knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice for young children.
