TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have tutored privately for over six years. I developed curriculum to help young students develop reading and mathematics skills. I currently teach at a private high school. I am employed as a 504 Hospital Home-bound Instructor and a part-time educator. This means I teach students at a variety of grade levels and skill levels. My job requires that I personalize instruction for these students while they are bound to their home. Additionally, the high school is on a block schedule, so I also teach science and English classes on campus to full class-sizes. My unique job requires that I create units, lessons, and tests very quickly while still insuring that they are adequate assessments. I have collected quite a bit of testing and instructional materials that I believe can be beneficial to most everyone.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe every student can learn, but that for some students different instructional tools may be necessary. My job requires that I learn these tactics quickly in order to maximize instruction time for my hospital students.
