Build-a-Bear Donation Campaign for the students of Sandy Hook December 2012 – January 2013 Began a Twitter campaign immediately following the Sandy Hook tragedy to push for the company Build-a-Bear to donate teddy bears to comfort the surviving students. College and Career Readiness Standards Initiative for Social Studies January 2013 The Social Studies Faculty Collaborative Powerful and Authentic Social Studies (PASS) project links university professors and K-12 pre-service social studies teachers to a systematic approach for social studies instruction and the creation of an authentic learning environment. The project includes an initial workshop to introduce faculty to the Powerful and Authentic Social Studies (PASS) program.
