Over the past fifteen years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to instruct a diverse group of middle school students in a writing-based Language Arts curriculum, and as a result I have become adept at developing highly effective teaching techniques, academically rigorous curriculum, and creative and stimulating instructional methods. This has allowed me to educate all styles of learners and foster a fun and engaging learning environment that keeps students interested and focused, promotes creativity, and creates success.
One of my greatest strengths as an educator is developing and teaching comprehensible and stimulating lessons that facilitate all learning styles. Having focused my Master’s thesis on writing instruction, I research and incorporate a variety of resources into the curriculum to accommodate students via multiple modalities. In addition, my passion for the written word keeps students motivated and participating in the learning process. I believe that all students can learn, and learning should be fun!
I am honored to have taught and learned from so many incredible students.
