I have been blessed to be a teacher of little learners for 10 years. Nine years in kindergarten, looped up to first grade last year, and now I'm headed back to kindergarten!! The excitement of watching little ones grow from preschoolers to readers is a great joy! When I was little I always said I wanted a job that wasn't boring. Well, I got my wish. Life is always interesting as a primary teacher!.
I saw this poem on Pinterest and thought that with a few changes, it summed things up nicely! I am a glue-sniffing, jacket-zipping, crayon-drawing, parent-calling, multi-tasking, paper-passing, never-resting, germ-x - using, milk-opening, shoe-tying, folder-stuffing, tooty-ta - dancing, alphabet-singing, storybook-reading, Kindergarten Teacher!
I graduated from college in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education. I graduated again in 2009 with a Masters Degree in Reading.
