TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 3 years of summer school, creating my own (fast paced) curriculum in Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. I also completed my student teaching in Pre-Algebra. I've tutored for Pre-Algebra through Calculus as an online math tutor for 5 years and as an personal tutor for 10 years in

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love using group projects and activities to help solidify understanding of mathematical concepts. I also like to use real-life situations to create challenge problems (problem of the week) to help develop critical thinking and problem solving and, more importantly, to answer the all-so-famous question, "When am I ever going to use this?"
