TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked about everywhere in elementary! I taught 3rd grade for several years, worked at a district level in Instructional Technology (in and out of all level elementary classrooms), moved to a new state and worked as a computer technician in a school, worked as an assistant in 1st grade, and taught 1st grade. What a ride! :)

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe allowing students to create their own knowledge. My job is to guide them on their journey. My one wish for all of my students is that they leave my classroom as a student who WANTS to learn more...

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I was born and raised in Columbia, MO, and graduated from the University of Missouri (GO TIGERS!) with a degree in Elementary Education. I am also certified as a K-12 Media Specialist. I have been through the eMINTS training as both a teacher and a trainer. My next goal is to work on my Master's degree, hopefully in Library Media Sciences!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

In my outside-of-education life, I am the wife of a pastor and a mom to 2 little girls, Elena (6) and Audrey (3). Life is rarely calm around our house, but I love it! As far as my TPT store, I am happy to create individual products, so if you need something in a particular theme, color scheme, or subject, let me know!
