I have nine years of experience as a teacher. For many of those years, I have taught early childhood and lower elementary grades in a multiage setting. One of my favorite things to do is to create materials for the classroom to support instruction.
My teaching style has a little bit of everything. It changes with the type of students and grades I'm teaching. One of my main goals is to provide students with hands on experiences to stimulate curiosity and a passion for lifelong learning, at any age or level.

Since the age of four, my dream was to become a teacher. I would spent countless hours teaching my dolls. That dream came true when I was given the opportunity to teach a group of Pre-K students. During my college years, I found out about the Montessori Method and fell in love with it. And that's where you will find me now.
As a teacher, much of my inspiration comes from the many occurrences and learning that goes on in my own classroom. I have learned that the best curriculum is the one I carry in my head; knowledge!
