You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink. I choose not to accept this mentality as a professional educator. I believe that although the horse has the choice as to whether or not it drinks the water, there is no way the horse will be able to resist if the water is sparky, attractive, and exciting. Based on this belief my teaching philosophy is that it is my responsibility to fully engage every student in the learning process. I began my learning at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Teaching Social Sciences and completed my student teaching in Washington D.C. in 2014. I started my teaching career in Las Vegas, Nevada and I currently teach psychology and sociology subjects. In the past, I have taught AP U.S. History, U.S. History, U.S. Government, & World History to 9th-12 grade students. I have worked as an AP Psychology reader for the College Board and thrive in teaching AP Psychology. Teaching is my passion and I hope to share that passion with you in my store.
