TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a Special Educator for eight years. I began my teaching career as a New York City Teaching Fellow and I taught in the city's special education district, District 75, for four years. Then I moved back to my home state of Vermont, where I continue to teach. I have taught students with ASD, Other Health Impairment, Intellectual Disability, Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, and Specific Learning Disabilities. My job is definitely VERY challenging! But it is totally transformative as well. I learn something new every single day and I absolutely love it! Teaching is never easy, but it is always rewarding.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Supportive, loving, structured, organized, and consistent.
