TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Master's of Science in Special Education and Education Specialist Clear Credential, CA. 4 years teaching special education full time grades TK-5 with students that have mild-moderate disabilities including: Autism, SLD, OHI, VI, ED. I've worked in the K-12 education as an aide, substitute teacher and tutor before being a teacher for 10+ years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Positive reinforcement is huge in my classroom. I scaffold and encourage my students as I challenge them at their level. Evidence-based practices are implemented daily and general education curriculum is adapted and modified to make it accessible. Students are mainstreamed as much as possible and all levels of success are celebrated!
