I began my career in Special Education working in a K-5 Resource Room but moved into an Intensive Needs classroom after 3 years and have found my calling! I work with students with a variety of disabilities who have a variety of functioning levels. Some of my students are able to spend their entire day within their regular education classroom with some additional support while other students spend their day with me receiving individualized instruction.
I believe that learning should be fun. I work with my students to build independent living skills and do my best to make learning experiences fun so that my students look forward to these opportunities.
I have not received any honors/awards yet, but hope to!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership.
I have one daughter who is my world!! My husband and I love her to death and center our worlds around her.
