TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught all three levels of schooling, but my absolute favorite is primary school. I currently work as a math coach in a K-2 building. I have served on district curriculum committees, math committees, as well as professional development committees. I currently help train districts and schools on primary mathematics.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I make math fun! My primary purpose is to get students away from a traditional textbook, and focus more on truly understanding the big ideas. My teaching style is always concrete-pictorial-abstract for teaching math!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

-Teacher of the year nominee for the past 6 years -Most Creative teacher award

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Master's in Educational Administration; Lindenwood University Bachelor's in Science in Elementary Education Minor in Spanish (K-9)

I absolutely love math coaching! I hope TPT allows me to help even more teachers. I would be more than happy to help create requested documents or activities!
