This is my 4th year teaching, and I am beyond excited! I did my student teaching in a K/1 class during the spring of 2009, taught 3rd grade for two years, and this is my second year as a 4th grade Spanish Immersion teacher. I have thoroughly enjoyed the students, their families, the staff, and my school.
It is my belief that every student can excel in their own way. This looks very different for every student, and it takes a special person to help students find their confidence in education. I push my students to excel academically, and they rise to meet my challenges.
Yet to be added
I received my BA in Elementary Education from UK and my Masters of Education with an Endorsement in Gifted and Talented from Georgetown College. This year, I will begin pursuing my National Boards Certification in Literacy.
I am very dedicated to teaching and am constantly seeking ways to improve the educational experience for my students. In my free time I love reading, being outside, hiking, and painting.
