Most of my teaching experience was in a young three year old classroom. I have also substituted in the public school setting preschool - 5th grade. Since 2004 I have been the director of a religous exempt preschool. I also present a number of workshops for early childhood educators.
I believe that providing activiites that meet the multiple intelligences of children is the key to successful learning! My classroom was a combination of teacher directed activities and child directed activities. Helping young children develop independence and confidence was the goal I set each year in the classroom.

I live in the Washington, DC area and have all of my life! I am a mother of four adult children and grandmother of 4 beautiful grandchildren. While having served in the classroom for many years in 2004 I became a director in a religious preschool program. I love working with young children and watching them meet their potential daily. I also LOVE the people I work with who have the same passion for little children as I do. In my free time I serve on the board of my affiliate chapter of NAEYC and present workshops to early childhood educators. For fun I enjoy reading and creating scrapbooks of my grandchildren.
