I have been a teacher and a learning consultant for 35 years. I have taught children with a variety of learning disabilities as well as children in the mainstream. I have experience from grammar school through high school.
My teaching style is eclectic. I believe in using modern technology to facilitate learning, but my premise is that I can teach children with a piece of chalk and a chalkboard if I have their heart. If the affect is missing there will be no effect.
I have been nominated Teacher of the Year by my peers. I am also a published author. My book http://www.amazon.com/SAT-ACT-Taking-Strategies-Spell-Success/dp/1463755732/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1441745252&sr=8-2&keywords=Lu+Pierro is available on Amazon. I am also a poet, I have been published in several journals. You can check out my work at:https://www.facebook.com/lucreziapierro?fref=ts

I love to teach, write, and read. The greatest gift we can give the next generation is a great education and a love for the spoken and written word.
