ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Meet Christin, a hand lettering artist and graphic designer based in Greenville, South Carolina I've been drawing, designing, and whipping up all kinds of creative projects as long as I can remember. At 5 years old, this Illinois girl packed a box of stuffed animals and Crayola markers to get ready for a college career in art. While that box didn't stay packed for long—my favorite bear was inside!—when I did finally get to college, I made graphic design my major and continued to develop a great love of typography, hand lettering, bookbinding, and illustration. If you visited my studio today, you might find me listening to audio books (mysteries are my favorite) while sketching out concepts, lettering a commissioned verse, or designing up a storm on my Mac. Like most people, I don't wear one hat. In addition to "designer," I am also a wife and mom. Outside of the studio, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and little girl, drinking coffee, and yoga. I sketch and journal (often combining the two), try to keep letter-writing alive, and read fiction while drinking hazelnut lattés.
